American guard Reggie Quezada (190, college: USAO) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Angel Gerardo Suero contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Terry Larrier (203-1995, college: UConn) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for Soles. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Leones will play against Reales in La Vega in the next round. Soles will have a break next round.
The game with biggest result difference took place in San Francisco. Local Indios beat Titanes 104-90 on Sunday night. Charles Brown Jr scored 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Jhonatan Araujo responded with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Indios will meet Marineros in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Titanes will play against Metros in Santiago and hope to win that game.
